Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to purchase high intensity use (24/7) chairs for Air Traffic Control Towers - En Route and Terminal Facilities. This is a Market Survey to determine interest in providing the following services. NAICS Code: 337214 100% Small Business Set Aside Brand Name or Equal Requirement LuxSteel/Domore Chairs Brand Name is DoMore Intensive Use Seating by Scope Technologies, Inc., model numbers in both Standard Series and XL Series: 3312, 3317, 3302, 3301and 3319. Salient characteristics for "Or Equal" product are as follows: Chairs must be ESD (Anti-Static) and pass FNEW 83-269EChairs must have a variety of height availabilities (High back with flat or regular head rest)Chairs must have a variety of color options Chairs must have a 5 year warranty and service plan for on-site parts and laborInside delivery options include: delivery to required work area, unpacking, unboxing of all materials and cleanupChairs must be delivered between the dates of September 1, 2008 - November 28th, 2008.***Please see attached technical specification requirements. Contractors must have active registration in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.ccr.gov. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
