Description

The scope of the project consists of the relocation of seventy-five (75) water shut-off valves from the crawl space to the utility room of residential housing units. The work will include, but not be limited to, purchase and installation of new piping, tees, elbows, etc., flushing of water lines, coordination with residents, and disposal of all removed items not to be reused. Project magnitude is less than $25,000.00. Project work is not in a restricted area. NAICS code 238220 for this project falls under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Tentatively anticipate issuing solicitation on or about 17 July 2008 with a pre-bid site visit following two weeks after issuance of solicitation. Bids will be due 30 calendar days after issuance of solicitation, and all work to be completed within 75 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
