- Description
- The intent of the project is to furnish and install lighting sensors at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse, 231 W. Lafayette, Detroit, Michigan. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials and equipment to install ceiling and wall switch occupancy lighting control sensors on floors 1 – 10 and the basement. The project shall consist of testing and adjusting the sensitivity, directions, and time delay of the wall and ceiling switches as they are being installed. Upon completion and after the sensors have been in operation for approximately 2 weeks; re-balance the sensors for sensitivity, directions, and time delay based on tenant feed-back. The Government will occupy the site and the existing building during the entire period of construction. Work can be scheduled during normal business hours and/or after hours. Work in some areas must be performed during unoccupied hours. The estimated price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210 with a size standard of $13 million. The completion time for this project is 150 calendar days. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and open to all business concerns. This is negotiated, best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on past performance and price. The solicitation will be available on or about July 15, 2008. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the FBO website for amendments, if any, to the solicitation. All responsive offers from responsible offerors will be considered. Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, HUBZone, Veteran-Owned, and Service Disable Veteran Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
