- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for construction services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation notice. For a copy of the full solicitation, send E-Mail request to neil.f.herman@usace.army.mil or by telephone 402-995-2057. Quotation are requested by close of business 11 July 2008. PROJECT INFORMATION: Solicitation No. W9128F-08-T-0072. On or about 26 June 2008,this office will issue a Request for Quotation for Repairs to some corrugated metal pipe (CMP) joints by placing a mechanical seal from the interior of the pipe. The seal shall consist of a flexible material compressed against the joint by corrosion-resistant adjustable bands. The installed seal should prevent water exfiltration and soil infiltration at the repaired joints. Eights pipes have been identified for repair with two to three seals each. There is one 24 inch CMP which will require 2 seals, two 30 inches CMP's which will require 3 seals each, three 36 inch CMP's which will require 3 seals each, and two 60 inch CMP's which will require 3 seals each. The magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is set aside for small business participation only under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 237310 with a size standard of $31.0 million.
