- Description
- The Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, R5 Southern California Province of Acquisition Management has a requirement to construct a Fire Station and three Barracks, and all site work including grading, asphalt paving, concrete walks and curbs, landscaping, irrigation, and utilities including water system, propane gas system, sewer system, and power and telecommunication systems all as shown and specified in the contract documents. This procurement is Set-aside for competition among 8(a) Small Business concerns. NAICS is 236220. Small Business Size Standard is $31.M. Price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) under FAR Part 15 requiring the submission of a technical and a price proposal. A bid bond is required. A site visit and pre-proposal conference will be held on July 24, 2008 at 10:00 AM. The location for the site visit and pre-proposal conference will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download only from this website on or about 07/16/2008. Plans and drawings will be available on this website with the solicitation. No paper solicitations, drawings or amendments will be issued. All responsible 8(a) sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. Offerors must be registered in the Contractor Central Registration (CCR) database as a certified 8(a) Small Business concern in order to be eligible to submit a proposal. ORCA electronic annual FAR Representations and Certifications shall be completed at website http://orca.bpn.gov, FAR Provision 52.204-8 is included in the solicitation.
