Description: Stage 1 Fan Blades are the first of three stages that make up the fan rotor that processes the air flow through the engine at optimum speed and angle to produce pressure to turn turbines and produce thrust. Material consists of TI-6AL-4V Dimensions: 12"X 5" X4" (LxWxH) Qualified Source: General Electric Company. Not a SB set side. L/I 0001: QTY Range Min 522- Max 3131 each Required Delivery: On or before 30 Nov 08 Destination: USAF •11. Mandatory Language: Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: supplies (or Services) required are available from only or a limited number of responsible sources(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualifications requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
