- This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the Starter, Engine, Electrical, NSN 2920-01-501-5552, Mfg PN MP-031, CAGE 0FHH9; PN 96-9386, CAGE 62502 and-or Fuel Tank, NSN 2910-01-486-9253, Mfg PN 96-9175, CAGE 62502. There are current sources for this item. Detailed technical data for the manufactures or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of supplying either or both of the aforementioned parts must so indicate by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: Ari Herman AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-PS, Building 2700, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023 or by email to: ari.herman@us.army.mil. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous supplier listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts meet the Militarys requirements. The cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
