- ISSUED TO PROCURE 10 EACH INCONEL BAR RAW MATERIAL. NOTE: MATERIAL DIMENSIONS ARE ANNOTATED IN ENGLISH. MATERIAL CHEMISTRY IS ANNOTATED IN METRIC. MATERIAL DIMENSIONS: 6 inch DIA + 1/8 inch - 0.0 in. 10 ft in LONG + 1.0 in. -0 in. MATERIAL SHALL BE PRODUCED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AMS 5662 AND SHALL ALSO MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: MELT METHOD: MATERIAL SHALL BE TRIPLE MELTED IN THE FOLLOWING SEQUENCE, VIM PLUS ESR PLUS VAR. ULTRASONIC TESTING: BILLET OR BAR SHALL BE ULTRASONICALLY INSPECTED PER AMS-STD-2154 IMMERSION METHOD AND SHALL MEET STANDARD CLASS AA. CHEMISTRY: C / 0.012-0.036, Mn / 0.35 max, Fe / 16.0-19.0, S / 0.0013 max, Si / 0.35 max, Cu / 0.30 max, Ni / 52.0-55.0, Cr / 17.0-19.0, Al / 0.35-0.65, Ti / 0.75-1.15, Co / 1.0 max, Mo / 2.80-3.15, Nb / 5.20-5.55, Ta / 0.10 max, P / 0.015 max, B / 0.006 max, O / 0.0025 max, N / 0.01 max. F.O.B. DESTINATION. This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Certifications and Representations (ORCA) must be current.
