Description
MSHA is seeking vendors that can provide the below requirements: To be in compliance 30CFR part 75.3 and the General Coal Mine Inspection Procedures handbook, PH-08-V-1, Inspectors are required gather air samples in under ground mines. To collect these samples the inspectors use glass vacutainer tubes. To prevent these thin glass tubes from breaking while carrying them underground, a protective case is needed. Having these tubes in a case will protect the inspector from injury that can be caused by a broken tube and it will also prevent lost time in getting new samples should the tube accidentally break. Specifications for Carrying case •Case should be made of plastic that is 1/8” thick •Case should be in 2 parts, an inner sleeve in which the vacutainer tube is inserted, and an outer sleeve that fits over the inner sleeve. •Dimensions of Inner sleeve: 3 ¾” X 2 ¼” •Dimensions of Outer sleeve: 4 ½” X 2 5/16 “ •Case shall be of size and dimensions that make it easy and comfortable to carry in shirt pocket. • Quantity Needed: 3,000 -- MULTIPLE SHIPPING LOCATIONS **SEE ATTACHED SHIPPING DISTRIBUTION LIST FOR QUANTITIES AND ADDRESSES** **NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
