- DESC: 5306-01-341-6175, Part Number 12592580, the item to procure is a Bolt Machine (NSN: 5306-01-341-6175) is used on M119A1/A2 105mm howitzer. Overall length is 1.292 inches nominal; Head height 0.172 inches nominal; nominal thread diameter 0.250 inches; thread length 0.400 inches minimum; thread class 2A. Material: Steel, ASTM A36/A36M, A108 or A576. Requirements are 675 each, Bolt Tee, Head. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 19 June 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. A License Agreement between BAE Systems and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside, 5 yr IDIQ. The estimated requirements for the Bolt, Tee, Head is 675 each and 250 each for out years one (1) and two (2); 450 each for out years three (3) and four (4). A maximum quantity over the life of the contract is 4200 each. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet.
