- Synopsis:This is a solicitation notice for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) number 1406-04-08-RQ-20484 is being issued by the Acquisition Services Directorate-Herndon under the US Department of the Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the USDA Forest Service Wood Education and Resource Center. This contract will be for Wood Energy Utilization Services. The procurement and resultant contract administration as well as payment of invoices will be handled by the Acquisition Services Directorate. The Acquisition Services Directorate is a Federal Franchise Fund Contracting Office under the authority of the Government Management Reform Act and provides contracting support to all Federal civilian and DOD Agencies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, effective 12 June 2008. This is not a set-aside. The associated NAICS codes are 813312 Environment, Conservation and Wildlife Organizations or 541620 Environmental Consulting Services.
