- Description
- FISC Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to issue a solicitation for System Acquisition and Broadcasting Support Services in support of the Naval Media Center and Navy Element (NMC/NE) of the Defense Media Agency (DMA). The contractor shall provide acquisition, engineering, broadcasting, information technology, installation, and operational support services to the NMC/NE of DMA in order to assist in executing its mission to deliver news and related information via print, broadcast and the Internet to the Navy community worldwide and onboard US Navy Ships. Competition for this procurement is restricted to certified 8(a) firms. The applicable NAICS Code is 541512. This requirement is a follow-on to Contract N00189-04-D-0043 with Omnitec Solutions. It is intended that a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract will be awarded. The Government reserves the right to issue Firm Fixed price orders under the contract. The base period of performance will commence on the date of award and continue for a period of twelve months thereafter with four (4) twelve-month options. The potential annual level of effort is approximately 78,000 hours per year. The RFP will require the submission of a technical proposal as well as a price proposal. RFP N00189-08-R-Z034 will be made available electronically, upon its release, at www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration website (www.ccr.gov).
