Synopsis will be as follows. A separate writtensolicitation M67400-08-T-0162 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on orafter 01 July 08. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions andclauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 andDefense Acquisition Circular 91-13. DPAS Rating is DO-C9E. The NorthAmerican Industrial Classification System codes are 811192 and the business sizestandard is NTE 5.5 million. THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, OKINAWAPREFECTURE. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED TO OPERATE IN THE COUNTRYOF JAPAN. MAINTENANCE SERVICES WHCHI SHALL BE PROVIDED LOCALLY WILL BE REQUIREDDURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD. The Government may make single award to the responsible offer(s) which is/are the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best valueevaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DefenseFederal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses applyto this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the CentralContractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualifyunder an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submittedproposal.
