- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Asheville, NC is seeking sources for a multi-mode computerized robotic dynamometer. The equipment is used to identify, treat and document the physical impairments that cause functional limitations and should be able to provide neuromuscular testing and rehabilitation technology. Some of the features required in this system is: An Isokinetic Resistance mode for testing and rehabilitation; Reactive Eccentric Mode for submaximal neuromuscular re-education in the early phases of rehabilitation; Passive Motion Mode; Isometric Mode; and Isotonic Mode. Any system offered should include the following attachments: dual position back (flexion/extension) attachment; lift simulation attachment; closed kinetic chain attachment; and work simulation tools. Interested parties are encouraged to submit product information and specifications to Jeff Benton, Contracting Officer, VISN 6 Centralized Acquisition Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, 201 Hay Street, Suite 304, Fayetteville, NC 28301 not later than 4:00pm local on July 7, 2008. All responses will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
