- Description
- It is the intent of the General services Administration to issue a solicitation (Request for Quotation) for a construction award to replace carpeting at the US Post Office/Federal Building, 904 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA 99201 (SEE Attached Request for Quotation GS-10P-08-XC-P-0077). All work shall be in strict accordance with the Scope of Work and associated drawing. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. See Scope of Work and associated drawing in solicitation for requirement details. Contractor personnel are required to obtain GSA security clearances, which require background checks. Contractors must be registered and active in CCR (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be considered for award. Work associated with this request is subject to the U.S. Department of Labor, General Wage Decision for Washington (Number: WA20070007 Modification Number 4 dated 06/27/2008)(see solicitation for full wage decision). Site visits prior to submitting a quotation is highly encouraged. The Project Manager is Mr. Paul Zambon, GSA Property Manager. The Government anticipates a one time only site visit on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. Participants of the site visit shall meet at the General Services Administration Office in the US Post Office/Federal Building, 904 W. Riverside Ave., Room 135, Spokane, WA 99201 with Mr. Paul Zambon. The Order of Magnitude for this construction project is less than $25,000.00. Performance period is Thirty (30) Calendar Days from issuance of official “Notice to Proceed”. The Government reserves the right to request a cost breakdown in sufficient detail to determine cost/price reasonableness. The Government reserves the right to negotiate with offerors after receipt of offers. This procurement is being set-aside for Small Businesses, all responsible & responsive sources submitting an offer will be considered. No bonding is required. Certificate of Liability Insurance will be required.
