- Amendment #2: The purpose of Amendment #2 is to clarify that for Line Item #4 either a 3.5" or 7" hinged wall mount bracket will be accepted for quoting purposes. *********************End Amendment 2************************ Amendment #1: The purpose of Amendment #1 is to change the shipping/location address. Please note address change. *********************End Amendment 1************************ PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number C001992. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423610, Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, Wiring Supplies, and Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers : The size standard for this requirement is 100 employees. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The requirement is for the following wiring/cabling equipment (minimal salient characteristics included): •1. 300 pr plenum cat 3 cable (Qty 3,750 feet) •2. 100 pr plenum cat 3 cable (Qty 600 feet) •3. 300 pr (Cat 3) rack mount 110 block (Qty 40 each) •4. 3.5" or 7" Hinged Wall Mount Bracket or (to mount item #3, noted above, on to the wall with) (Qty 20 each) •5. 100 pr (CAT 5)110 rack mount block (Qty 2 each) •6. 12 port Mod (RJ-45) Cat 5 (4pr) patch panel with 110 on the back (IU) (Qty 10 each) •7. 25 pr Cat 5 plenum cable (Qty 2,200 feet) •8. 2 4 port Mod (RJ-45) Cat 5 (4 pr) patch panel with 110 on the back (2U) (Qty 4 each) Quotes shall include all shipping costs as applicable. All deliveries under this requirement will be FOB destination. Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Amy Lacy at aelacy@fbiacademy.edu. The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before July 11, 2008 at 10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time. Responses must be marked as follows: "RFQ C001992." All correspondence regarding this requirement must be submitted to Amy Lacy via email. Quotes shall include a point of contact, contractor DUN's number and TIN number. This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-25. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Nov 2007) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: (b) Submission of offer(s) is to read as follows: "Submit offers electronically to aelacy@fbiacademy.edu. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is incorporated by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items is incorporated. Contractors may submit their online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following government portal: http://orca.bpn.gov. Clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. Prior to award, the intended awardee will be required to submit documentation to include an Acquisition Risk Security Questionnaire and a Key Personnel Listing.
