- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY – The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate a Purchase Order for the Maternal and Child Health Care Bureau with The American Academy of Pediatrics, 141 Northwest Point Boulevard, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase 129 pages in a special Supplement to the Journal of Pediatrics to present the results of the 2005 – 2006 National Survey of Children with Special Health Care Needs. The period of performance for this project is for three months. NAICS Code: 323119 This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13.5. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is on file, which states and supports that The American Academy of Pediatrics is the vendor that publishes the Journal of Pediatrics. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
