- The U.S. Department of Labor supportive of the Employee Benefits Security Administration, (EBSA) has a requirement for the Thrift Savings Plan Audit Services. A contractor is needed to perform fiduciary compliance audits of the Thrift Savings Plan. The period of performance will be for a one (1) base year with four (4) option year periods. This is a full and open competition under Part 15 of the FAR. For your information, the NAICS code for this requirement is 541211, Office of Certified Public Accountants. The Government will make one award. The award will not be made to an offeror that also has a contract with the Thrift Investment Board for the performance of financial audits. The Contractor will be required to maintain its principal office of business, for staffing and administering the contract, within either Washington, D.C., Montgomery County, Md., Fairfax City, VA., Falls Church, VA, Prince George's County, Md. or Alexandria,VA., and this office will have to be staffed with the "key personnel" necessary to manage the contract. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: The purpose of this RFP is to afford industry and academia an opportunity to provide proposals as to the type of audit services that would be relevant to EBSA. All potential contractors are invited to submit a proposal for providing support and a supporting documentation that addresses the respondent's knowledge, ability and experience. The use of information received from industry and academia shall be used to complete final solicitation documents at the discretion of EBSA. Potential contractors submitting any replies per this RFP must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. All materials submitted in response to this RFP will become the property of the Government. The cover letter must include the following information: 1). Response to RFP Number DOL089RP20554; 2). Contractor Name, Address and Phone Number; 3). Point of Contact Person Information: Email Address, Phone and Fax Number.
