- THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS 100% FULL AND OPEN. PROPOSALS ARE BEING SOLICITED FROM BOTH SMALL AND LARGE BUSINESSES. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment required to rehabilitate three road crossings off of Rio Grande County Road 3 east. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. at the Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge, Rio Grande, County, Colorado B. Contractors are urged to visit the site and become familiar with existing conditions. Failure of the Contractor to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve them from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a 100% Full and Open. The NAICS code is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the size standard is $31 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about July 16th 2008 with an anticipated closing date of August 14th 2008. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
