Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for: Integrity Desktop 100 User License quantity of (1), One year Upgrades and Updates (effective 07/30/08 - 07/29/09, One year Software Maintenance Support (effective 09/15/08 - 09/14/09), Training Course for DEA World Wide (final dates will be arranged with host office). The proposed delivery order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Compucat USA under the special documentation requirement described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.501 and under authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c ) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Compucat USA. The following: FAR Part 13.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition. 52.212-1 (MAR 2005) Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Item, 52.212-4 (SEP 2005) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212-5 (APR 2006) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Also, the full text of provision and clauses may be accessed electronically at http://www.access.gpo.gov and http://www.arnet.gov/far/. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. All communication concerning this announcement must be in writing and received by 2:00 p.m. eastern time, no later than July 08, 2008, six (6) calendar days of this notice to Yokita Davis via email at Yokita.Davis@usdoj.gov. All respondents will be considered by this agency. <ins datetime="2008-07-02T08:33" cite="mailto:DEA"></ins> The government intends to award a sole source delivery order to Compucat USA as specified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 13. This sole source is based on compatibility with existing equipment. All interested parties may submit a quote that will be evaluated. Responses must be in writing and submitted to the contracting official listed above in twelve (12) calendar days after publication of this notice by 2:00 pm eastern standard time on July 14, 2008.
