- Description
- Notice: This pre-solicitation was previously listed under W91QUZ-AMERICAS-ARMY. Information Technology, E-Commerce & Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4), Alexandria, VA 22331, intends to solicit industry for generalized marketing and event support on the U.S. Army Game Project under NIACS Code 541613. This effort is anticipated to be placed on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a five (5) year ordering period. A Draft RFP is estimated to be posted by early July 2008, followed by an Industry Day scheduled to be held in Washington, DC around the last two weeks of July 2008. The Army Game Project (AGP) is a multi-faceted activity of the United States Military Academy, Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis (USMA, OEMA), under the direction of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA). AGP consists of a periodically updated computer-based game, Americas Army, as well as associated marketing activities purposed to effectively market the Armys career opportunities to America's youth. The Army Game Project requires event management, supervision, administration, marketing, PR personnel, training, travel, data, documentation, supplies, materials, equipment and other items and services necessary to market present and future versions of the Americas Army. The Army Game Project requires assistance in developing, implementing, and adjusting (based on changes in technology, messaging, demographics, marketplace, and new information) its marketing strategy to ensure maximum engagement with young Americans through gaming technology. Cost-effective means of providing marketing consulting services will be used to provide a fun and exciting environment for young people to interact with recruiters, play the Americas Army game, and participate in experiential marketing exhibits based on the Americas Army game technology. AGP consists of web-based instruments and network video computer games to attract young people and inform them of various aspects of Army life and Army career opportunities. The following websites have been provided for additional information: http://www.GoArmy.com; and http://www.americasarmy.com. Once posted, the Draft RFP and all attachments will be available for downloading at www.fbo.gov.
