- This Special Notice is for responses to a draft solicitation to stabilize/repair the Mexican Canyon Trestle located near Cloudcroft NM 88310. The Lincoln National Forest hereby releases draft solicitation AG-7512-S-08-0036, in order to obtain industry comments of all aspects of this document and attachments. The Mexican Canyon Trestle was constructed in 1899 and is a prominent reminder of the significance of railroad logging and to the development of Cloudcroft and Otero County, New Mexico. To maintain the structural integrity of the Trestle for the long term, stabilization is required and preservative treatments are required. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the draft solicitation and attachments. Industry comments will be considered in the final documents. The forest service will not provide or release responses from industry and request no inquires be made. Submit all comments by July 16th 2008 to Richard Paulk, by email at rpaulk@fs.fed.us or by mailing to USDA Forest Service, Lincoln National Forest, 1101 New York Avenue, Alamogordo New Mexico, 88310. Attn Richard Paulk. This draft is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP. No entitlement or payment of charges by the Government will be made as a result of submission of responses. Attached are all documents for comments, please submit your comments to the draft by July 16th, 2008.
