- SOLICITATION N69450-08-B-5333THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted inviting full and open competition. The government intends to award an Indefinite Quantity (IDQ) contract for Airfield Painting and Rubber Removal, at Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS. Contractor will furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform the work specified. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery (IDQ) type contract with a base year and 2 possible options. The work includes removal of pavement lead based paint and rubber, new pavement markings, and incidental related work. There will be a minimum guaranteed project specified. Site visit dates will be specified in solicitation. The entire solicitation, including plans and specifications, will be available for viewing and downloading at https://www.neco.nay.mil on or about 18 July 2008. Prospective Offerors MUST register themselves on the web site. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web site. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. In order to participate in this procurement, all offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR). The web site for CCR is http://www.ccr.gov. Technical Inquiries must be submitted in writing 15 days before Proposals are due to the following address: FEAD, 427 Allen Road, Meridian, MS 39309, or faxed to (601) 679-2147, Attn: Lisa Harris. All bids submitted by responsible sources shall be considered. The projected date for issuance of solicitation documents is 18 July 2008. The estimated date for bid opening is 21 August 2008. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000. The period of contract performance is 365 calendar days with 2 possible options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code) for this Solicitation is 237310, Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, the associated annual size standard is $31.0 million.*****
