- The National Park Service (NPS) anticipates soliciting for proposals and awarding a contract for construction of a new woven wire wildlife exclusion fence in Yellowstone National Park.A) Set-aside: Offers will be solicited only from HUBZone small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered. A HUBZone small business concern is a small business concern that appears on the List of Qualified HUBZone Small Business Concerns maintained by the Small Business AdministrationB) Brief Project Description: The contractor shall supply and install approximately 4850 linear feet (LF) of fencing to exclude wildlife, including two-20 ft wide double gates.C) Estimated Price Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000D) Schedule: All dates are tentative and may change. Issue Request for Proposals mid-summer 2008; Proposals due late summer 2008; Award contract fall 2008. E) Solicitation: The request for proposals (RFP) and future amendments will be available through www.fbo.gov. Enter the solicitation number N1580080435 in the search block. F) Pre-proposal Site Visit: The National Park Service anticipates conducting a pre-proposal site visit; however, the exact date has not yet been determined. Additional information regarding the site visit will be noted in the solicitation. The NPS will conduct only the one pre-proposal site visit.G) Proposed Contract Type: Firm fixed price contract with lump-sum pricing. H) Proposal Evaluation Criteria / Factors: Award will be made to the Offeror presenting the best value to the Government. Selection will be based on price and non-price factors.
