- Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Haleakala National Park and The Nature Conservancy, Hawaii have all made multiple snare purchases during the past several years and all of these agencies have purchased their snares solely from the Raymond Thompson Snare Company. This is the only known company in the United States that produces stainless steel snares with sufficient strength and quality to function for several years in the rain forest environment.
