Description
This is a sources sought notice announcing a presolicitation conference to be held at GSA, Building 41, Denver Federal Center, 6th and Kipling Street located in Lakewood, CO. The meeting is to be held in the Remington Arms Conference Room, located on the first floor of Building 41, on July 1, 2008 from 9:00am to 3:00 pm MDT with a wrap up presentation on July 2, 2008 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm MDT. This announcement is NOT a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Invitation for Bids (IFB) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. No solicitation is available at this time. GSA's Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) is acting on behalf of its' client, Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), to provide an Enterprise IDIQ contractual vehicle for Whole Facility Maintenance including supermarket refrigeration/HVAC operation and maintenance (O&M) of DeCA's worldwide commissaries, both CONUS and OCONUS. There are a total of 265 commissaries with 5 distribution centers worldwide under the direction of DeCA. It is GSA FAS' intent to award a 1-year base IDIQ contract with 4-one year options to six to seven contractors who will compete against each other for up to 11 regional awards. The IDIQ ceiling will be $503 million, with a minimum of $50K guaranteed for each of the 6-7 contractors. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561210, Facility Support Services, with the NAICS Code size standard at $32.5 Million. GSA FAS has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the single database registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with GSA. GSA's procurement and finance policies require contractors to be registered for consideration in future solicitations, awards, and payment. GSA Contracting Officers worldwide utilize CCR to identify possible sources and Financial Officers use the system to make payments. To register in CCR, vendors may use one of the following methods: (a) Call telephone number 1-888-CCR-2423 for further information; or (b) Input information directly into the CCR database through the web application at http://www.ccr.gov/. Contractors ¬must be registered in CCR prior to any contract award for any government solicitations. Contractors must also be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The ORCA website address is http://orca.bpn.gov. Interested parties that believe they possess the capabilities necessary to undertake this requirement and plan on attending the presolicitation meeting, should submit an email to the individual listed below. No phone calls will be accepted. Ray M.
