Description
Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested personsmay identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirementor submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fortyfive-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basicordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Description: Description: Aft Outer Fairing Assembly made up of 3rings which are riveted together. The function is to provide (shouldcome from PR & include form, fit, function and, ifA smooth contour of the turbine frame outer diameter which allows forsmooth flow of ducted air into the augmenter. The dimensions are: 34 INdiameter by 4 IN wide. Material consists of titanium and inconel9. Total Line Item Quantity: L/I 0001 - MIN 15, MAX 87, QTY 5810. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - F110-111 Engine11. Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB, OK., 73145-9013 12.Delivery: 14 per month beginning 30APR2009 13. Qualification Requirements: Due to the complexity and criticalityof this part, only actual manufactures that have successfully completedall testing required by the original company responsible for the design,or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on itemsdetermined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticalityand can be considered approved sources for this item. 14.
