- The U.S. Maritime Administration has a requirement to remove existing stateroom funiture in 16 cadet staterooms on board the T/S STATE OF MAINE, and install new furniture in place of the exsiting furniture. The new furniture consists of 16 sets of triple berths, 48 lockers, chairs, bookracks and other accessories. A complete solicitation package is expected to be available for download from this website on or about July 10, 2008. All removal and installation work is to be accomplished pier side at the Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, ME 04420.
