- Description
- The contractor shall provide war fighting and logistics management and administrative support to AFOSI 1st Field Investigative Squadron and AFOSI Detachment 303, Travis AFB, CA. The contract to provide war fighting and logistics management and administrative support shall include but not be limited to the following elements of performance: planning, development, management and supply operations, shipping/receiving assets to deployed Travis AFOSI personnel, and management of numerous logistical related programs. There will be no public opening. Award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. Period of performance is a base twelve (12) month period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The closing date and time for submission of offerors will be on or about 17 Aug 08; specific date will be stated in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS), on or about 17 Jul 08, which can be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Past Performance surveys will also be posted with solicitation to be turned in by your references at the time of proposal due date. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email requests for the solicitation package will NOT be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package, and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
