Randy Artzrandy.artz@aqd.nbc.gov703-964-8429 Revised Description: TITLE: Independent Testing for License Plate Readers This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice and following the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.5 THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-17. The US Department of Interior, National Business Center, through its Franchise Fund activity, Acquisition Services Directorate, is issuing this solicitation, Number 0408RQ20803 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Patrol This contract will procure services to perform the requirements of this solicitation shall at a minimum include: program management, site preparation, provision of equipment to support the License Plate Reader test, verification, documentation, and reporting. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, services, materials, facilities and equipment necessary to implement the attached "LPR System Solution Demonstration Test Plan / J.6" for each "LPR Offeror's" systems. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price. This is a full and open competition NAICS CODE: 541614 - Logistics Management Consulting Services Size Standard : $6.5 million PRODUCT CODE: H223 - Eq test svcs/vehicles-trailers-cyc If offeror feels that another NAICS or PSC code is more suitable for this procurement type, the offeror may submit these changes in their proposal. The Government will evaluate these changes accordingly.
