- Description
- The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking support for the informatics and computer systems of the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP). This effort will support operating and maintaining the current system as well as support the design and/or redesign of system programs as well as initial coding, revising, testing, debugging, documentation, training, operations and/or maintenance of all system software and hardware associated with the CTEP Enterprise System (CTEP ESYS). Computer staff shall be available to CTEP staff for resolution of technical problems and to ensure quality of the data in the CTEP ESYS. This shall include support of CTEP and local contactor personal computers, NT Server, Exchange Server, Oracle Web Server, and customized data bases and applications within the CTEP ESYS. At the present time these systems include but are not limited to: Clinical Trials Monitoring Branch Audit Information System (CTMB-AIS), Protocol Authorization and Tracking System (PATS), Drug Authorization and Review Tracking System (DARTS), Clinical Data Update System (CDUS), Web Enabled CDUS, Common Toxicity Criteria Interactive Tool (CTCAE), Adverse Drug Experience Electronic Reporting Systems (AdEERS), Enterprise Query Wizard (EQW), Financial Instrument and Accrual Tracking System (FIATS), CTEP Account Management System (AMS), Clinical Investigations Branch Information System and Clinical IT (CIBISCIT), Regulatory Affairs Branch Information Tracking System (RABITS), Document Management, Assembly, Review and Tracking System (Docu-MART), and the CTEP Web Page. Technical challenges will include system integration and migration for caBIG™ and the Clinical Trials Working Group (CTWG) initiatives to support the re-structuring of the cancer clinical trials system. The incumbent Contractor is Capital Technology Information Services, Inc. (Contract No. N02-CM-27021 which is scheduled to expire on October 31, 2008). CTEP plans to award a single, incrementally funded, cost-reimbursement, completion type contract for a period of three (3) years with four (4) Award Term years. It is anticipated that the level of effort required for this contract will be approximately 117,760 hours per year with an option of approximately 8,640 additional hours.
