- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) is soliciting proposals for engineering support services for the Local Area Augmentation Service (LAAS). The FAA anticipates to award one (1) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of 5 years to the responsive /responsible offeror whose proposal provides the best value to the Government. The evaluation will be based on the following three (3) technical factors: (1) Corporate Experience (2) Key Personnel, (3) Program Management/Transition Plan. This is a Full and Open procurement with applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541330, Engineering Services. The size standard is $4.5M. Interested parties responding to this solicitation are directed to the attached SIR. All questions/ inquires must be provided in writing by Friday, July 18, 2008 to Jeanine Passetti at jeanine.passetti@faa.gov Proposals are due no later than July 30, 2008 by 2:00 PM, EST. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov under current announcements for the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award any effort resultant from SIR DTFACT-08-R-00026.
