- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a requirement for a contractor to provide quarterly preventative maintenance inspections (PMI) and full 24/7 maintenance and repair services on its automatic and roll-up doors at the two Cleveland-area Ohio VA Medical Centers (VAMCs). There are 125 automatic doors and 11 roll-up doors located at the Wade Park VAMC, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106, and 43 automatic doors and 9 roll-ups at the Brecksville VAMC, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, OH 44141. Services are required for a base year and four (4) one-year options. The contractor shall provide, but not be limited to providing, all labor, material, parts, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to provide scheduled quarterly preventative maintenance inspections (PMI's) and 24 hour maintenance and repair services to both VA Medical Centers. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 811310. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on our about Tuesday, July 18, 2008 with the award date running approximately 30 days after the issuance of the solicitation. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside.
