- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA), is seeking a vendor to bid on the items listed below. USAMRAA is seeking BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO: Charleston Marine Containers, Inc. Tricon 2 Green w/ Lista Kit 037 Humanitarian Assistance Container (P/N BXTCSGPOIDM537/NSN 6530-01-545-6307), essential characteristics include dimensions 80Lx65.5Wx80H with two sided-open door access, and shelving kit, labeled w/red cross, and CSC-approved in 3-unit configuration, Quantity = 6; Charleston Marine Containers, Inc. Tricon 2 Green 2 Shelves and 4 Beams Humanitarian Assistance Container (P/N BXTCSGPOIDM538/NSN 6530-01-545-6294), essential characteristics include dimensions 80Lx65.5Wx80H with two sided-open door access, one w/transverse shelf sections, the other for medical case storage, and CSC-approved in 3-unit configuration, Quantity = 6; Charleston Marine Containers, Inc. Tricon 2 Green w/ 3 CONN (P/N BXTCSGPOIDM003/NSN 6530-01-545-6378), essential characteristics include dimensions 80Lx65.5Wx80H with two sided-open door access, basic bulk storage, empty box, two sided, labeled w/red cross, and CSC-approved in 3-unit configuration, Quantity = 3. Items are to be shipped to US Army Medical Materiel Agency; 6149 Wardleigh Road, Bldg 1160 Bay 1, Hill AFB, UT 84056-5848. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. W81XWH-08-T-0290 is issued by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and quotes must be submitted in writing (oral quotes will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The SIC Code is 3441; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332312; the FSC is 8145.
