- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for Tyndall AFB for the following commercial items: Electronically Controlled High Pressure (UHP) Bumper Mounted Firefighting Nozzle (Turret), 100 GPM @ 1500 PSI, 2" national pipe thread inlet x 1.5" male NH outlet, 16:1 gear ratio, position feedback capability via potentiometers, encoders in a central control unit, 24 volt, black. This unit will be operated robotically via computer control and needs to have the capability to run preprogrammed agent application patterns and return to predetermined home positio at the touch of a button. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 332919 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: 500 employees. This procurement is being issued as unrestricted. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17 and Defense Change Notice 20031001. FOB: Destination for delivery to Fire Department on TYNDALL AFB FL 32403-5215. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
