- Description
- The Fort Drum Directorate of Contracting intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract, for the telecommunications upgrade to the existing Incident Command Vehicle (ICV). The required service and supplies associated with this action are to provide all supervision, plant, labor and equipment necessary to perform all work to upgrade the existing ICV communication capabilities to ensure operability on Fort Drum, as well as neighboring communities. The ICV is a mobile command post utilized during emergency situations, and therefore requires capability of secure communication with Fort Drum emergency first responders, as well as external agencies to include local, state, and federal emergency response. The system must (through hardware and system configuration) be compatible with existing M/A-COM Land Mobile Radio equipment. The upgrade shall include installation, configuration, training, support, removal of old system and maintenance. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Solicitation W911S2-08-T-3035 will be issued on or about July 15, 2008 on the Army Single Face to Industrys (ASFI) web page at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The size standard for the NAICS Code is $23 million. Interested parties may identify their interest in, and capability to respond to, the requirement by submitting documentation indicating their capabilities and qualifications to perform this effort to the identified point of contact no later than 11 July 2008. The information received will be considered solely for informational purposes and the Government will not pay for such information received.
