- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9124V-08-T-0006 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 423910 and the size standard is less than 100 Employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, Effective 12 Jun 2008. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The acquisition is a firm fixed priced purchase order in support of the Montana Army National Guards Recruiting and Retention Command (R & R). The R & R requires paintball equipment for their mobile event teams for fairs to take place in Montana. The items intended for purchase: TRAINING GEAR TO INCLUDE; 100 EA US Army Alpha Paintball Gun (M-4) Tactical Edition Semi (Black); 100 EA C02 Tank with Pin Valve 20 Ounces (Black); 100 EA Scott Voltage XP Facemask (Black); 100 EA VL 200 Round Hopper (Black); Price on Cases of Paintball, various colors (PLEASE IDENTIFY ANY QUANTITY DISCOUNTS THAT MAY APPLY); Two (2) EA Chronograph with Splatguard; Two (2) Fill Stations with Dual Valve; Ten (10) EA Bags of Tank O-Rings. The items requested above are for descriptive purposes, equipment shall be brand name or equal. If the offeror is quoting an equal item, please provide technical specification and warranty information. The provision of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 2008) applies to this RFQ. 52.212-3, the clause needs to be completed and a signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer. 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Past Performance and Technical Capability. Past performance and technical capability, when combined, are less important when compared to price or cost. Vendors are requested to submit past performance information to include persons of contact on their last two contracts for similar products.
