Description

DESCRIPTION: Pilot Program to provide under represented groups with motivation, preparation and learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom beginning at early levels of education (K-12) and encourage children to seek careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This program will target the Los Angeles Unified School District, specifically the Roosevelt High School Complex. The period of performance consists of one base year (12 months) and 4 Option Periods (12 months each), to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The acquisition method is negotiated procurement. Both a technical proposal and a price proposal will be required. The basis for award is Best Value “Tradeoff.” This process permits tradeoffs among cost or price and non-cost factors and allows the Government to award to a superior offeror which is not the lowest priced offeror but which is significantly more technically advantageous the lowest offeror so as to justify payment of a higher price. Relative weighting of technical and price is as follows: All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are significantly more important than cost or price. Evaluation factors may consist of the following: (1) Technical Approach; (2) Previous Experience: (3) Past Performance; (4) Key Personnel, Teaming Arrangements, Management Plan. Aforementioned evaluation factors may not be all inclusive. ALL OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. This project is 100% SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
