Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a quote is being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation N61339-08-T-0005 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect from regulations posted to http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil inclusive, but not limited to, FAC 2005-12. The solicitation shall be awarded on a SOLE SOURCE basis to Systems Technology, Inc in Hawthorne, CA. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334111 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The following items are required to be shipped to eight (8) Aviation Survival Training Centers that will be specified in the contract where delivery shall be FOB Destination: CLIN 0001, (a) PARASIM® P/N PCCTS-4-HCSTKC Helmet-Compatible Basic Turnkey Configuration, 10 Each; (b) PARASIM® P/N PCCTS-4-MALFS Malfunction Software System Option, 10 Each; (c) PARASIM® P/N PCCTS-4-DRFSHDS Damped Riser Force Sensor Option, 10 Each; (d) PARASIM® P/N PCCTS-4-AADMO Manual Overide/Ripcord, ADD, Oxygen Option, 10 Each; (e) PARASIM® P/N PCCTS-4-SRSF Snap-Fit Rack Based Suspension Frame, 10 Each; (f) PARASIM® Annual Software Support for PCCTS-4-HCSTKC-ASPT, 30 Each; (g) PARASIM® Annual Software Support for PCCTS-4-MALFS-ASPT, 30 Each; (h) PARASIM® Riser Force Sensors, 16 Each; (i) PARASIM® Controller Box, 30 Each; (j) PARASIM® Toggles (pair), 30 Each; and (k) PARASIM® Ripcords and Optical Sensor Packs, 30 Each. Delivery 12 months ARO. Systems will be configured and tested at STI’s facility in Hawthorne, CA, prior to delivery. Hardware and software baselines will be provided, including description of the system, software titles and versions, components, quantity, and nomenclature. Commercial software licenses included. Price to include shipping of all items. The cold start procedures and the I&A procedures shall be provided. STI PARASIM® commercial software license includes one year STI support and free software upgrades for the first year. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (Dev). A COMPLETED COPY OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THE QUOTE: FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.212-7000. The following clauses also apply: DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A and DFARS 252.212-7001(Dev). The DPAS rating for this solicitation is N/A. See Note 22 (45 days is changed to read 10 days).
