- Description
- The Kern National Wildlife Refuge, located at 10811 Corcoran Road, Delano, California 93215 has a requirement to remove fence to recycling centers/waste disposal sites and replace approximately 2.1 miles (11,100 feet) of fence along the southern boundary of the refuge. Scope: Work must be completed by Nov 30, 2008 due to winter rains) Work to be performed by crews experienced in construction of fencing. Project magnitude is between $25,000. and $100,000. This will be "best value" procurement with award based on experience, and price. Award may be made without further negotiation. Proposals should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms, from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government may, after evaluation of proposals, conduct further oral or written discussion as appropriate. Solicitation number 801818!329 will be published by July 25, 2008 and may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The solicitation response date will be approximately 30 days from posting date. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps. Interested contractors must be registered in the CCR at time of award.
