- Solicitation number SPM4A7-08-R-1571, NSN 1680-01-324-3973, PR 001788779, Grip Assembly, Control, for F-18 aircraft. This is a part numbered item and is unrestricted, other than full and open competition. The Government does not have adequate data, lacks rights to data, or both. Approved source is Esterline Mason Electric, CAGE 81579, P/N 707-8001. Solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract for 21 each to W25G1U, New Cumberland, PA. FOB Destination with Inspection & Acceptance Destination. Requested delivery is 192 days. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on 24 July 2008, with a closing date of 25 August 2008. The solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https:/www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. From the DIBBS homepage under the Solicitations tab, select RFPs, then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPS are in portable document format (PDF).
