Description
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number E006792. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334419. This procurement is unrestricted and all responsible offerors may submit a quote. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The requirement is for the following Multi Band filter/triplexer (minimal salient characteristics included): 1. (Qty 16 ea) Triplexer RF Multi Band passband filters triplexer (iDEN/Cellular, PCS and UMTS frequency band) (Minimum Salient Characteristics/Requirements) Specifications: Insertion Loss: 851-852.5 MHz = 2.25dB Max 852.5-894 MHz = 1.0 dB Max 1930-1990 MHz = 1.0 dB Max 2110-2170 MHz = 1.0dB Max Return Loss: 851-894 MHz = 15 dB Min 1930-1990 MHz = 15 dB Max 2110-2170 MHz = 15 dB Max Rejection: 806-849 MHz 40dB Min 1850-1910 MHz 40dB Min 2010-2090 MHz 40dB 2190-2700 MHz 40dB (goal) RF Connectors: TNC female Operating Temperature 0C to +50C Storage Temperature -40C to +85C Power 50W CW Approximate Size: 9.0" x 7.5" x 4" Quotes shall include all shipping costs as applicable. All deliveries under this requirement will be FOB destination. Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Amy Lacy at aelacy@fbiacademy.edu. The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before Friday, July 18, 2008 at 10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time. Responses must be marked as follows: "RFQ E006792." All correspondence regarding this requirement must be submitted to Amy Lacy via email. Quotes shall include a point of contact, contractor DUNs number and TIN number. This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-25. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Nov 2007) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: (b) Submission of offer(s) is to read as follows: "Submit offers electronically to aelacy@fbiacademy.edu. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is incorporated by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items is incorporated. Contractors may submit their online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following government portal: http://orca.bpn.gov. Clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation.
