Description

This project includes various water system repairs to the Twin Lakes Water System. The work includes the following: 1. Lower Twin Lakes Campground – Replace entire water system within the campground to included new frostproof hydrants, waterline laterals, drains, and valves. 2. Paha and Robinson Creek Campgrounds – Replace all existing hydrants and drains throughout the campgrounds. 3. Honeymoon Campground – Replace hydrants at restrooms and host unit, and drains throughout the campground. Solicitation (Request for Proposals) will be available at this site on or about 07/09/2008. Proposals are due to the Contracting Officer on August 12, 2008 NLT 3:30 PM Pacific Time. See solicitation for "pre-bid" information. EST. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION (including all options): $100,000 to $250,000. There will be a PRE-offer, site visit on July 16, 2008 at 0900 Local time. Interested offerors should meet Forest Service personnel at the junction of Twin Lakes Road (County Road 420) and S. Twin Road. This is approximately 10 miles Southwest of Bridgeport, CA.
