- Construction Services of a qualified, responsible, responsive firm having the capability and capacity to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, tools, and expertise for the Vetinary Medical Unit (VMU) and Research Lab Upgrade, Project 614-312 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memphis, TN 38104. Work includes renovation, to the existing (VMU) Phases 1A and 1B. Work also includes, but not limited to, abatement of hazardous materials,demolition of existing items including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection as required for new work, relocation of existing autoclaves, bottle washers, roof repair and excavation. Estimated construction cost range is between $5,000,000-$10,000,000. NACIS is 236220. Estimated contract completion time is 510 calendar days.THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SMALL DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SETASIDE. All bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (ccr.gov)and VETBIZ (vip.vetbiz.gov) to be eligble for award. Award is subject to the availability of FY 08 Funds. Solicitation documents will be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps. gov after July 23, 2008. A $100 refundable deposit is required for each hard copy set of bid specifications and drawings. Deposits will be accepted as a certified or cashier's check, money order, or company check. Cash or personal checks WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Deposit is refundable providing all bidding materials are returned in good condiion 10 calendar days after bid opening. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted to the fedbizopps website. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in fedbizopps to "Receive Notification" of amendments. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging ALL amendments to the solicitation prior to bid opening.
