- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Portland, Oregon, has a requirement for a contractor to provide approximately 27,111 cubic yards of 1 inch gravel and spread gravel 5 inches deep on approximately 17.33 miles of road at the Handford Reach National Monument/Saddle Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, Richland Washington in Benton County Washington. Road 112 was damaged on the Mile Post 17 Fire which is approximately 25,771 ft (4.88 miles total). Remaining roads were damage on the Wautoma Fire which comprise a total of approximately 65,775 ft (12.45 miles) against the following roads; 1) road 120 for 3,416 ft (.64 miles); 2) road 118 for 20,422 ft (5 miles); 3) road 117/118 cutoff for 18,648 ft (3.53 miles); and 4) road 117 for 17,290 ft (3.27 miles). Contractor will be responsible for providing all gravel, equipment and labor to spread gravel 5 inches deep on these specified roads. Pricing shall be FOB destination to the Hanford Reach National Monument/Saddle Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, Richland, WA. This will be a "best value" procurement with award based on past performance/experience with similar requirements and price. Past performance/experience is significantly more important than price.
