- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions related solicitation number F1M02W8148AA01. See the following! 1. What is the model number of the Government-provided AMX controller? AUTO PATCH 1Y-16 AXCENT 3 INTEGRATED CONTORLLER. Does the Government possess the un-compiled software and program for this controller? NO. Do you have a set of interconnectivity drawings or wiring diagrams of the connected equipment? NO there is not a set of interconnectivity drawings available. The LCD projectors are replacing projectors already in place. The LCD displays are new 2. Will all of the RFQ items be installed in one room? YES. 3. What are the working hours of the facility? Normal business hours (7am to 5pm) 4. What are the dimensions (length, width, height) of the room? What type of flooring? What type of ceiling? If the ceiling is suspended, what is the ceiling to deck height? What is the wall type? The floor is a raised floor about 6 to 8 inches covered with carpet tiles on top of aluminum. The ceiling is a drop ceiling at about 10 to 12 ft high. The walls are sheetrock with metal studs. 5. Is it the Government's responsibility to ensure electrical requirements are satisfied? YES. 6. In the Q&A says provide and install Two (2) Projectors, does that mean change the QTY of the Projectors in the Quote? Or are you keeping one for spare. All the projectors are being installed as they are replacing three projectors that are already installed. 7. In the synopsis (vii), Delivery and installation of items must be completed NLT 1 August 2008, if the contract is awarded after the archive date (July 23, 2008). Does that mean we only have about 7 working days to complete? The due date for delivery and installation has been changed to 22 August 2008 per an amendment to the solicitation. 8. In the template of RFQ is calling out computer, video and RS232 for cables, do you require to run DVI cable for the LCD display? Or all the cables are in placed already? LCD displays will not require DVI cable. As outlined in the RFQ form, the contractor I responsible for supplying all cables and install hardware necessary for the two LCD displays. The Projectors required are replacing projectors already in place and may or may not require additional cable and installation hardware to replace existing cabling and hardware if necessary. 9. Is the source code for the AMX available or will the whole code need to be re-wrote? No but it is available to those businesses that sell AMX products. It is the offeror's responsibility to acquire the programming codes to complete the AMX programming requirement.
