- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Government intends to purchase the following brand name or equal items. Qty 1 SCALA Part Number SW-C25-5 Display Software for server side to 25 remote displays (package should include 1 individual remote player license); Qty 2 SCALA Part Number SW-P01-5 Individual Player License; Qty 1 SCALA Part Number SW-P05-5 Individual Player License 5 pack; Qty 8 Thin Client PCs (for remote sites) Equus DG33FB or equivalent to include keyboard, mouse and power, video and audio cables; and software installation, checkout and training. The Government will provide 47 inch LCD flat panel monitors with VGA and audio inputs. The Government will also install and connect all PCs to the network and verify path back to server location. A contractor proposing on an equal shall provide clear and convincing information/specifications that an equal is being proposed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310 with a size standard of 750 employees. The order shall be a fixed priced order. FOB Destination shall apply. Delivery shall be to Dahlgren, Virginia 22448. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. This procurement is DO priority rated. DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. Registration can be completed by accessing the CCR Web Site at http://www.ccr.gov. A paper registration form may be obtained from the DOD Electronic Commerce Information Center at (800) 334-3414. Electronic proposals are encouraged at dlgr_nswc_xds11@ navy.mil or may be faxed to (540) 653-7088, Attn: XDS119, or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Code XDS119/Bldg 183, Room 102, 17632 Dahlgren Road Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. Closing date: 15 July 2008 2:00p.m. EST; Anticipated Award date: 17 July 2008.
