- The Naval Air Systems Command, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole-source basis with Virginia Panel Corporation, Waynesboro, VA, for the following items: 10 each p/n 510114122 Module Interface Device, 5 each p/n 410113164 ID 80 Series 19 Module Single Tier, 25 each p/n 510114123 Module ID CASS Signal, 25 each p/n 510114124 Module ID CASS TAC Signal, 25 each p/n 510114125 Module ID CASS Power Signal, 25 each p/n 510114126 Module ID CASS Power Signal TAC, 25 each p/n 510114127 Module ID CASS Coaxial, 25 each p/n 510114128 Module ID CASS Coaxial TAC, 50 each p/n 510114129 Module ID CASS Coaxial, 50 each p/n 510114130 Module ID CASS Coaxial, 15 each p/n 510114132 Module Interface Device 80 Series, 15 each p/n 510114133 Module Interface Device 80 Series, 100 each p/n 610103180 Contact ITA Mini Coax, 100 each p/n 610110168 Contact ITA Wireless Signal, 100 each p/n 610115126 Contact ITA MPWR Wireless ITA. Virginia Panel Corporation is the sole designer, developer and integrator of the RTCASS parts and is the only known firm with the unique knowledge, experience, technical data, to provide these items. The Government does not own a complete technical data package for the MAC kit. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
