- Work includes but is not limited to providing all material, labor & equipment necessary to replace the HVAC & acoustical ceiling system in the administrative area of the Manchester Processing & Distribution Center, 955 Goffs Falls Rd, Hillborough County, New Hampshire. The estimated cost of the work is between $1.5M & $2.5M, with construction completion no later than 327 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. There will be a PREPOSAL MEETING held on site WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 2008 beginning @ 10:00 A.M to discuss project specifics. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly suggested. Technical inquires are to be addressed to the Project Architect Neil Atkinson of Maguire Group, Inc. @ 508 543-5157 X346 or USPS Project Manager Richard M. Shea at 603 427-6281. This is not a formal invitation for bid; therefore, no bid bond or proposal guarantee is required. All offerors are required to submit a completed qualification package along with a company safety and health plan, which will be part of the evaluation process. Prior to award, the successful contractor will be required to submit a project specific safety plan acceptable to the USPS contracting officer. Awards exceeding $500,000 require the successful offeror to submit Small, Minority & Woman-Owned Business Subcontracting Plan and Reports. The USPS is migrating to a web-based SMWOB contractor reporting system. Therefore, subcontractor reporting requirements & processes will be issued to the successful offeror when the contract is awarded. Also note, the USPS Northeast Area Environmental Health and Safety Guide Checklist must be reviewed, completed & signed by both the USPS Facility Manager & a representative of the successful contractor before work can being. Since construction time will exceed sixty (60) days, contractor will be bound by Contractor’s Screening Requirements. SOLICITATION PACKAGES may be purchased for $100 (check or money order made payable to USPS Disbursing Officer) from the USPS Northeast Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Rd North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300.
