- ANNOUNCEMENT 08SQ810201 DOI Bureau of Reclamation, Region 8, Denver, Colorado intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract with Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC for Electromagnetic Geophysical Survey work. Battelle Energy Alliance has the knowledge and equipment in order to assess and perform the testing of hazardous waste along with fluid flow and resistivity monitoring of conditions within levees. No other contractor to the best of our knowledge can provide this data. This procurement is authorized in accordance with 41 USC 253(c) (1). The proposed solicitation is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with one responsible source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, interested parties may submit their capability to respond to the requirement via email to jewalt@do.usbr.gov by 4:00 p.m. MST 07/15/08. Telephone requests will not be honored. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A determination by the government to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice will be based solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation.
